My Journey to Becoming a Celebrant
Hi, I'm Aleka, and expressions of love make me very happy and hopeful! That's why I've chosen to become a celebrant—to be part of life's most beautiful celebrations.
Based in Mykonos, Greece, a place I've been visiting since childhood, I've created a home on this magical island that holds countless beautiful memories and friendships spanning over 40 years. The vibrant culture, warm people, and breathtaking landscapes have always felt like my safe, fun, and beautiful haven.
With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I've had the privilege of working and living across the globe—from Australia and Asia to Europe and the Middle East. This international journey has blessed me with a deep appreciation for different cultures, beliefs, and traditions, which I bring to every ceremony I create.
My Life in Mykonos
My amazing husband and I have raised three young adult children who, like me, have made the world their oyster. When they visit, we embrace the true Greek lifestyle—gathering around tables filled with delicious Greek cuisine, wine, laughter, debates, and lively conversation (sometimes even a competitive game of backgammon!).

My Values as Your Celebrant
My work as a celebrant is guided by principles of inclusivity and respect. I welcome couples of all backgrounds, religions, cultures, and orientations. I believe that if you are fortunate enough to find love in someone , and to share a journey, then your love story deserves to be celebrated beautifully, and I'm honored to play a role in creating ceremonies that authentically reflect each couple's journey.
I love incorporating meaningful elements that speak to your relationship while adding touches of Greek tradition to honor the special location you've chosen for your celebration.
Let's Create Your Ceremony Together
I can't wait to hear your story and help you craft a ceremony that captures the essence of your relationship in this beautiful corner of the world. Your vision will be my mission—whether you're planning a small, intimate gathering or a grand celebration surrounded by loved ones from around the world.
